  We had a wonderful stay at Ami La Vita. It was so relaxing and that view is unbelievable. I think it's the best view you can get and still be able to walk to the beach down below, which we did several times. The pool was great for a dip at the end of the day. We saw a sea turtle swimming from the balcony. Everyone had their own space. I got some of the best sleep in my life in that master suite. All of the windows look like a painting with the ocean framed at every angle. It's just gorgeous. We even met a neighbor who was so kind and helpful with lots of suggestions for what we should do on the island. Catered To was so helpful also. They were very quick to answer all of our questions. The driving on the island in general took some getting used to plus that driveway, but once we did it was so easy. I have nothing negative to say about our experience. It was 100% perfect and we are dreaming about when we can do it again.

  Ami La Vita was the perfect villa for us to stay at for our 3 week celebratory retirement trip! The view was outstanding; the house design was the perfect amount of privacy for us to enjoy our guests stay and Catered To was a very professional management company to work with when we had housekeeping questions.
  Our only suggestion would be to have the owners of the property to install sun shades on the east and west side of the outdoor patio area. During sunrise and sunset the sun was so strong that it became difficult to find the perfect seat to enjoy either. We would put this house in our top 5 places that we have stayed on the island. We would rate Klein Bay as our top bay for it’s beauty and quietness.

  We had an incredible stay at Ami La Vita. It is a wonderful home for a family vacation but also offers privacy when you need a quiet moment. My favorite part of the home was the covered porch/veranda with the most gorgeous view. The porch had a huge table for family gatherings. The villa is approximately 7 easy minutes to town. My only suggestion when planning a stay is to plan staying at least 9 days. St. John is not easy to get to, your first and last day are spent traveling, so do yourself a favor and enjoy a full week on island. I would highly recommend staying at Ami La Vita, it is a beautiful villa.

  This home is spectacular in every way. The home renders a most beautiful view of the Caribbean, the location is amenable to quick grocery grabs and quick drives to the local beaches, and having your own bay to walk a few steps to is an awesome “plus”. The home is stocked with all you need for toiletries, doing laundry and cooking great meals. I cannot brag enough about how well supplied. We did experience a couple of power outages but the generator typically kept the “lights on” most of the time. We did call maintenance re: the dishwasher and the pool pump. The dishwasher was fixed within the hour, however, there was some delay with the pool pump in that it completely “burned out” and needed replacement which sadly did not occur until after our departure. Nevertheless we were kept in the communication circle regarding this issue. I our minds there is no better location to vacation on St. John’s!! We hope to someday return.

  We had a wonderful experience at Ami La Vita! All of the coordination through Catered To was seamless up to our arrival, including our questions about the logistics of meeting the greeter, what amenities are available, etc. Abby greeted us right at the ferry dock and led us to the house. The closeness to Klein Bay is highly underrated! We had children ages 4-10 and they loved the walk down the private stone stairs down to the access road to the beach. Lots of great snorkeling, hunting for crabs and building stone sculptures on the beach! The house itself had everything we could imagine, it was much more well-stocked than a traditional rental house, including coolers, beach bag, stainless water bottles and beach toys. Our only concern was the children using the exterior stairs if they needed anything at night, but the stairwell is so well lit it was not a problem at all. We loved our stay at Ami La Vita and will definitely consider it for a return trip!

  This house was affordable and in a great location!! We snorkeled every day which is just a short but steep walk to the ocean. I've stayed in 3 other villas on St. John over the years all of which were over double the price. Hands down I'd stay here again before spending double the price somewhere else. From all the help at Cateredto and having our groceries delivered from the Starfish Market we were able to just enjoy every minute of our vacation. Thanks!!!

  Ami La Vita is conveniently located 15 minutes from Cruz Bay. The house was well stocked with all the necessary kitchen items, toiletries, beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, coolers to take to the beach and floats for the pool. The villa provided plenty of space and privacy for our party of 8 and we especially enjoyed the outdoor dining area. We loved the outdoor showers, however, the water pressure was very minimal. Be warned that the driveway is steep, but you can drive through eliminating the need to back out.

  This was our second Thanksgiving stay at Ami La Vita and hopefully will not be the last. The villa is exactly what we look for in renting with a reasonable price point, beautiful interior and exterior with updated amenities (love the outdoor showers), lovely lap pool to take evening swims and watch the sunset, secluded, gorgeous water views perfect for sunset and sunrise, short walk to a rocky beach with excellent snorkeling (this trip we saw an octopus and nurse shark), the grounds are absolutely amazing, and it’s a short drive to ALL beaches and to Cruz Bay.
  We absolutely love working with Catered To, the customer service has always been top notch in the three times using them the last 2 years.
