Located in the Virgin Islands National Park on Bordeaux Mountain, St. John’s highest peak, sits Esprit, a luxurious Island retreat. Commanding an unbelievable view of Coral Bay and the British Virgin Islands, this Villa also enjoys refreshing year-round breezes. Esprit is centrally located, an easy drive down to Cruz or Coral Bay and just 10 minutes from the magical beaches of the North Shore.

As for the Villa itself, it offers a perfect balance of comfort, style and privacy. The owner’s personal artistic touches abound throughout this bright and colorful home that is cooled by trade winds all year long. The great room is complete with a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining spaces, and a home entertainment center. Several tiers of balconies overlook the valley below, and the sunny lower deck boasts a pool and outdoor shower. The three bedrooms can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. You’ll also find the interior staircase leading to two bedroom suites is perfect for families with younger children.

  An amazing home base for your time in St. John. Morning coffee watching the sun rise with a breathtaking view is the perfect way to start each day. Home is equipped with everything you need. We were 4 adults and 3 kids. It was the perfect size. We loved the pool and appreciated the beach towels and chairs.   Esprit was a great place and location for our family's first trip to St. John. From watching the sun rise by Tortola every morning on the deck with birds chirping all around to being centrally located for heading to every beach around the island, the villa was perfect! And Catered To was fantastic -- from island info before arrival to our greeter who met us at the dock and made sure we got settled ... all top notch!

Took less than 15-20 mins to get to most Bays & Cays! The home itself was a gem! From the indoor/outdoor bathrooms to views from every level, you're not going to want to leave!!   our family of 4 stayed at Esprit and had a wonderful week. its a steep climb to get to but was worth it.Really enjoyed staying close to Coral bay.Our daily routine was to go to the pool in the morning and hit the beaches after lunch til abot 5 or 6pm, than came home to cook dinner and relax outside.Extra bonus was a lovely orange cat that came to visit us everyday.

  We have been to St. John many times and love the low-key vibe of Coral Bay. Esprit was a great location for visiting all the beauty that is St. John. The villa was clean and had almost everything we needed. The gardens around it are beautiful and the view is breathtaking, especially in the early morning. The villa sits at nearly the top of Bordeaux Mountain so it is quite windy in the late afternoons and evenings. The villa itself could use some updating. The couches and chair cushions were stained, the pool light didn't work, cupboards are old and worn. The top deck outdoor furniture is quite old and uncomfortable. But these are mostly cosmetic things. The table by the pool was falling apart and Catered To had a replacement there within a day. Their service was outstanding.

  We love St John. We love Catered To. The view and area of Esprit is great. In general everything was fine. Bed was wonderful; bath good and super towels; bedroom a/c very good; pool lovely; WiFi upstairs very good as was TV; plenty of beach chairs and towels; good supply of dishes and utensils. Here are some of the problems: Esprit is very tired. Kitchen gas stove top has one burner that lights automatically, one doesn't work at all, the other two require a hand lighter.Sink is chipped and area around it (grout etc.) needs re-do. Living room furniture old, cushions dirty from age/use and sunk in. Most of outdoor furniture is wooden and old; splintery; needs cushions. In master bath shower the window/screen is held in but lots of duct-tape; ceiling fan blades rusting. WiFi doesn't reach downstairs. Needs a extender. As I said, we had a very good time. Catered To is the best. They respond, they answer questions, they are helpful. But Esprit needs a real good spruce up, refresh. I'd recommend Esprit...but with reservations. Not a 4-5 star villa. I'd say 3+

  We had a fabulous stay at Espirit. We had never stayed on this side of St John and I was worried about the location but it was great. Very quiet and serene with beautiful views. And lots of chirping birds! The house was wonderful, perfect layout for us. The view were outstanding and the breezes made it very comfortable - even in July. Catered To was great to work with. Very responsive and helpful with everything. I highly recommend this home and Catered To.

  This was our 3rd time to St. John and 2nd experience with Catered To. The property is far from where we usually stay (Cruz Bay) but we learned to love that side. The house is beautiful and the views spectacular. The kitchen was well equipped. There are windows that are ceiling to floor that enhance the view. In short, we loved the house. Catered To was great too. There personnel is second to none.

  Esprit does have amazing views! We had a lovely week in Esprit, enjoying touring St. John by day and relaxing by night.
