Villa Adagio

Villa Adagio is a stunning 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bathroom villa with spectacular views of Great Cruz Bay and St Thomas, allowing for peaceful days and stunning sunsets.

Enter through a privacy gate into the tropical garden. The front door leads into the great room with a beautiful pool and unending views as well as a cozy living room with entertainment center. Throughout the house are several comfortable sitting areas offering incredible panoramas.

Two of the bedrooms are located on either side of the great room with interior access and the third has its own private entrance. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a private sitting room and an ensuite bathroom, 2 of which have outdoor showers. All bedrooms have a television and a/c. The spacious deck overlooks the bay and St. Thomas and offers comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas for those who prefer shade. Enjoy the elegant formal dining room or use the outdoor dining area in the lush garden. The fully equipped kitchen includes all cooking and dining amenities, elegant glass- and tableware and top of the line appliances. Just a short drive takes you into town and to the many breathtaking beaches.

  My wife and I visit St John almost annually. It is a peaceful environment in which we can recharge from the stress of life. Our most recent trip had us staying at the Villa Adagio. Nestled between Great Cruz Bay and Chocolate Hole, this home is perfectly positioned for peace and quiet, yet only moments away from Cruz Bay proper. There are several near by markets to gain provisions. The home boasts an indoor swimming pool right in the middle of the living room! A little cold, but very refreshing! In addition, there are three master bedrooms, all equally setup!
  
  Outside spaces are tranquil and inviting on both sides of the home. The rear deck is perfect for sunset watching and sunning during the day, the front patio is a nice place for coffee in the morning or dinner at night.
  
  We ventured out for most dinners, Greengos, St John Brewery, La Tapa, Zozo’s, 1864, High Tide, and Ocean 362 were all outstanding in both food and service. Lemongrass at the Westin had very good food but the service was not good at all.
  
  I scuba dove with Low Key Watersports and highly recommend their services. We also did several hikes, Leinster Bay Trail & Ram Head Trail were our favorites. Do yourself a favor and tackle Ram Head in the morning if strong sun and high temps are called for the day you go!

  Beautiful location to stay on St John oh but we did have something dead under the sink smelling for the week, no Internet, and the pool was cold. We incorrectly assumed that the pool would be Heated if it was inside, Therefore we did not get to use it at all.

  We have been coming to St. John for almost 25 years and have stayed in many accommodations, but once we stayed in Villa Adagio, we determined that was our go-to spot. We had stayed there for years before the hurricanes of 2017 destroyed it and were thrilled to be able to get back to this year. The rebuild maintained the integrity and quality that we had appreciated in the original home. Villa Adagio is beautiful, comfortable, functional and convenient to town.
  
  We required maintenance to come out for a minor issue and they were extremely responsive and resolved the issue efficiently.
  
  The front and back outdoor space alternate between sun and shade so you can always find what you are looking for.
  
  The pool is refreshing as well as quite a conversation piece.
  
  The morning view of the bay is serene and the evening sunsets are stunning.

  We found the Villa Adagio as a very user friendly rental. The home is nicely furnished and well maintained. We liked the location as it offered easy access to the North Shore and the downtown area. The indoor pool was nice from an ambience view-point but a bit cool to actually swim in. We have rented several times in St. John and would certainly recommend this rental.

  We had an amazing stay at Villa Adagio. This property is freshly remodeled and ranks as the best house we've rented in the Caribbean. The indoor pool was a very unique and enjoyable feature of the house.
  The staff at Catered To was always there to help and our maintenance tech, Will was very responsive to the few issues we had during our stay. I would highly recommend this Villa for a stay in St. John.

  We had a terrific stay at Villa Adagio. Great view of the bay. Everything you could need for food and beverages (gas stove, cookware, blender...). Very clean, plus midweek housekeeping! Plenty of parking for the two jeeps we rented. Loved the outdoor showers. Great sound system. Very short drive to Cruz Bay, or the store.
